Creating Lasting Change Through Our Better Lives Programme

One of the cornerstones of our social impact work is the Better Lives Programme, our long-term giving initiative delivered in partnership with B1G1.

Through B1G1, every contribution we make supports carefully selected projects around the world, including:

Unlike many charitable models, 100% of our giving is passed directly to the projects themselves, ensuring every pound drives real, measurable impact.

Standing With People Facing Homelessness: Supporting Simon Community Scotland

Homelessness continues to be one of Scotland’s most critical social issues, and our partnership with Simon Community Scotland reflects our belief that everyone deserves safety, dignity and the opportunity to rebuild.

🏠 Our 2025 Contribution

Alongside an initial £10,000 donation, we have launched an ongoing collection initiative to provide:

• Practical essentials

• Warm clothing

• Hygiene packs

• Items for emergency accommodation

Simon Community Scotland supports thousands of people every year through:

• Person-centred outreach

• Housing support

• Prevention services

• Crisis response

Championing Heart Health With the British Heart Foundation

Heart health affects families and communities everywhere. Our continued support for the British Heart Foundation (BHF) reflects our commitment to raising awareness and empowering people to act when it matters most.

Throughout the year, our team has promoted awareness of:

• How to recognise sudden cardiac arrest

• How to use a defibrillator

• How to perform CPR confidently

These simple, vital skills can save lives, and we’re proud to help share them.

Supporting Life-Saving Research With Cancer Research UK

Cancer Research UK remains an organisation close to many hearts within Redpath Bruce. Our team has taken part in:

• Awareness campaigns

• Office fundraising days

• Themed charity events

• Personal challenges and sponsored activities

Beyond our national partners, 2025 was also a year of incredible community involvement from our team. Some highlights include:

🏉 Wooden Spoon Charity

Supporting children’s charities at the Scotland vs Ireland rugby lunch — raising over £20,000.

⚽ The Big Match (Capability Scotland Youth Zone)

Sponsoring and joining The Big Match, helping raise nearly £13,000, ending in a well-fought 3–3 draw.

🧡 Tough Mudder for Maggie’s & Make-A-Wish

Our third Tough Mudder in a row, raising funds for two life-changing charities.

⛳ The Big Match Golf 2025

Raising funds for Held In Our Hearts through our charity golf day.

🥫 National Foodbank Day

Collecting food donations for local families across Scotland.

🎉 Action for Children

Helping raise an incredible £205,436 at the Never Mind the Business event — with a prize win for our own Laura!

💻 The Turing Trust

Donating laptops and desktops — giving 612 students access to digital learning and offsetting 10 tonnes of CO₂.

🏥 Hospice Support Across Central Scotland

Supporting Strathcarron, Accord and The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, honouring the daily compassion and care these teams provide.
